Hi everyone! I'm Amy Abern, executive director of Goldie's
Place, a support center for homeless men and women in Chicago.
In a former life, I was a jazz vocalist. All my friends are
jazz musicians and they have agreed to play a benefit concert
for Goldie's Place. Actually, I told them if they didn't come
and play, I'd put them all on Yanni's mailing list. Ahem. So
there's giong to be a jazz jam for Goldie's Place on Wednesday,
May 26 from 8:30 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.
at the Green Mill in Chicago,
4802 N. Broadway, (Broadway at Lawrence). The house trio that
night will be the Dan Trudell Trio. Tickets are $10 and all
proceeds benefit Goldie's Place. So come on down to play and/or
