Welcome to an "Evening at Chan's".
Here's a news update on last night (4/11/98)  at Chan's:

It was a Good Friday in more ways than one. Rebecca and the George Mesterhazy
trio (Peter Kontrimas on bass and Matt Gordy on drums) were swingin'. Ms.
Parris and company surprised this reporter by performing "Call Me
Irresponsible". Haven't heard anyone do this gem in quite sometime. Leave it
to Rebecca to find just the right tunes to add to her already vast repetoire.

In the audience was frequent Chan's patron Ken Franckling. Ken is THE jazz
photographer and Micki is especially grateful to have one of Ken's photos of
Sarah Vaughan studying the chart on "My Man's Gone Now". Ken is a
supporter / friend / fan of Rebecca's and we always have fun when he comes to
"hang out."
